As a successful graduate of law, Stephen decided to jump the fence into directing. His decision has proven to be the right one. His most recent short film, EUSTICE SOLVES A PROBLEM, has garnered both national and international success at film festivals including Sydney, Palm Springs,Toronto and Seattle.  His strong aesthetic and interest in subversive subject matter can be seen in all his work, particularly as writer of AFC funded short animation DOG WITH ELECTRIC COLLAR, a 3 minute film about fascism, a small dog and an electric torture device.

In 2003, Stephen and Damon formed Head Pictures to produce music videos.  Recent work includes videos for Sony/BMG, EMI, Universal and Festival Mushroom Records. Together they have also directed commercials for Coke, Nestle, Arnotts, KFC and Sanitarium.

Stephen is about to shoot his next short film, YOLK, and is developing an original comedy idea about an all girl roller derby team.
